Carl M. Freeman Communities, one of Delaware’s leading real estate developers, has been awarded Coastal Living’s 2006 Community Development of the Year for its Bayside community, located along the Delaware Shore near
Fenwick Island. The award recognizes Bayside as a “smartly planned project…(that) balances new homes and golf with sensitivity to its coastal environment.”
Launched in June 2004, Bayside is an 867-acre community which will feature more than 1600 homes when complete, as well as a town center with a supermarket, restaurant, and shops, and state-of-the-art recreational facilities, including
