Resound Marketing Principal to Run PR Seminar at 2008 Princeton Entrepreneurs’ Network Annual National Conference

Kevin McLaughlin Invited as PR Speaker, Leading the Session “Creating BIG News for Your Small Company” for Budding Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners

Princeton, NJ – May 26, 2008 – Resound Marketing, an integrated marketing and PR agency focused on helping clients “make some noise,” today announced that agency Principal and Co-Founder Kevin McLaughlin has been invited to run a PR seminar for start-ups at this year’s Princeton Entrepreneurs’ Network (PrincetonEN) National Conference (www.princetonen.org), taking place Friday, May 30 at the Friend Center on Princeton University Campus.

Now in its 12th year, the PrincetonEN National Conference offers educational tracks, expert insight, and networking opportunities to entrepreneurs within and beyond the Princeton network of alumni, faculty, students, and colleagues. The event also includes a $10,000 grand prize business plan competition, in which six emerging companies were pre-selected to present their business models and participate in a Q&A session with prominent venture capital firms.

A graduate of the Princeton Class of 1997, McLaughlin has been invited to run one of the four Entrepreneurs Seminars. His session, “Creating BIG News for Your Small Company,” will focus on the strategies and best practices to generate media placements for a growing business – using the press to help build credibility, drive new business, engage partners, and attract investors.

McLaughlin is a media expert with over 10 years experience in public relations and promotions for clients across a range of industries -- from green business and education, to technology and consumer products, to non-profit and healthcare. While leading Resound Marketing, he works primarily with emerging companies to help them elevate awareness, strengthen market positioning, and generate customer leads by integrating PR with other marketing initiatives. Resound has developed and managed marketing campaigns for several Princeton alumni-formed ventures, including Intellilink, Jango, Admish, ePrep, and TerraCycle, among others.  As an expert resource, Kevin has been quoted on marketing strategies and best practices by The Associated Press, ABC News, CNN, Entrepreneur, PR News, Start-Up Nation, and other national media.
